My Favorite Places

There are just places where I like to be. Not necessarily just because of the food, although thats usually the reason. So this is where I answer the question I am usually asked. What is my favorite restaurant? Or where did I have the best vacation ever? So here is the list. Thought you might be interested.

Caffe Dante 79 MacDougal St, New York, NY
The best place to chill in the world. Best cappuccino, cannoli and tiramisu you can find in the city. Great place to sit down and reflect, or to catch up with friends. Best part: It’s not far from NYU.

Cafe Du Monte 800 Decatur St, New Orleans, LA
World famous, this cafe does not disappoint. In my short period in New Orleans, I visited this cafe at least 5 times. And I am still not sick of this place. The warm and fluffy beignets are out of the world good. Pair that with some coffee or hot chocolate, you are in heaven.

Pike Place Market 85 Pike Street, Seattle, WA
From the tossing of the fish to the first Starbucks in the world, the bright fruit stands with the most amazing tasting peaches in the world to the yummy pastries in all the cute bakeries around, Pike Place Market is truly a foodie’s heaven. You just can’t get sick of this place. There is just sooo many things to try and it is always buzzing with people and excitement.

Trader Joe’s Stores located throughout the U.S.
There is just something about grocery shopping. It’s like therapy to me. All the worries in the world disappear the moment I step into Trader Joe’s. The best thing about TJ is the assurance that every single product they have on the shelf is the best in the market, quality and price wise. And the staff are just such fun people. So what if the NYC Union Square one is always flooded with people? It’s still great fun.

Alaskan Cruise
One of the best vacations I ever had was in Alaska. Spending a few days on the cruise gives a glimpse of heaven. There is ALWAYS food. You wake up to an amazing spread of breakfast, then at 11, you can get some tea and pastries to work up an appetite for lunch. Lunch is then served at noon. After lunch, snacks are served. Burgers, hotdogs, cakes. Then dinner, fine dining style. After that, you got supper on the deck. Food, food and more food. Heaven. And of course going through the glaciers and seeing the aurora borealis, visiting the small towns and getting to know the culture was all fun.
